Ponda (Goa): Lovers of mothertongue offered a prayer to Sri Simeshwar Deity at Tishen, Borim, Ponda, Goa for its protection. The temple is supposed to be a Jagrut Devalay (Temple where the Deity is in awakened state). The priest in the temple prayed to the Deity demanding to revert the circular issued by Goa Government regarding giving grants to english medium primary schools. (Hindus, instead of offering prayers after having problems, do realise that God definitely helps if devoted to Him; hence practise Spirituality in advance !).

Thereafter Mr. Shailesh Behre of HJS gave information to the people regarding the threat to the mothertongue and remedy to set it free from all danger. Mr. Kiran Naik, a staunch Hindu took lot of trouble to make this programme a success.

Highlights – While offering a prayer to the Deity very less number of citizens were present at the scheduled time; but after praying to Sree Simeshwar and burning an incense stick 40 people gathered there within 10 minutes of time. Thereafter all offered a prayer to the Deity jointly asking for His boons.
