HJS drive for maintaining honour of national flags

Malkapaur (Dist. Kolhapur) : Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) undertook drive for maintaining honour of national flags under which representations were submitted on 14th August at G. R. Warange High School and Junior College, to the Principal Shri. J. S. Shete by devout Hindu activists viz. Shri. Ramesh Padaval, Shri. Ramesh Kumbhar, Shri. Vikrant Morbale, Shri. Suhas Patil, Shri. Mayur Patil and activists of HJS. Posters were also displayed in the school. 400 students and teachers were given information on national flags and related topic, after seeking permission from Headmistress Sou. K. V. Patil of Girls’ High School and New English School.

Dr. Abhijit Chaudhari, District Collector of Sangli made an appeal to people against use of plastic national flags so as to prevent its abuse.

Representation was submitted by devout Hindus at Solapur and Latur

Latur : Representations were submitted to Dy. District Collector Anant Gavhane and to Headmasters of 25 schools, including Rajasthan Vidyalaya by patriotic citizens viz. Shri. Ratnadeep Nigudage, advocate Giridhar Botave, Shri. Vishnu Tigale, Shri. Shail Swami, Shri. Prabhakar Kolapak; besides activists of HJS.

Solapur : Representations were submitted at MIDC police station, Solapur District Collector Ajit Deshmukh and in 4 schools.

Patriotism generated amongst students thro’ flex-board exhibition on life-history of revolutionaries held at 2 schools

Nagar : Exhibition on life-history of revolutionaries was held at 2 schools viz. Samartha Vidya Mandir Prashala and Maharshi Chitambar Vidya Mandir. More than 500 students visited the exhibitions. They said that the exhibition helped in generating respect and patriotism amongst them, towards nation. Teachers appreciated the drive and asked for similar drives for increasing patriotism in students.
