Thane: A show of Marathi play ‘Vastraharan’ based on denigration of Hindu deities was to be staged at a theatre in Thane. Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) held silent demonstrations against the play.
Many members of audience preferred to stay away from the play when they were explained about denigration of religion in the said play. Audience felt that efforts of HJS to stop the play were right and commendable. It is an offense against religion to make mockery of Hindu deities.
