Mumbai: Pakistan’s cricket team losing a match on Indian soil is a result of God answering our prayers and is a victory of staunch Hindus. This was the reaction of Shri. Balasaheb Thakare published in the mouthpiece of Shiv Sena’s newspaper ‘Dainik Samana’ on Pakistan’s miserable loss in the match played with South Africa.
Shri. Thakare, the Shiv Sena Chief had earlier opposed Pakistan’s cricket team playing in India under the Champion Cup Cricket competition. Shri. Thakare had also appealed through the newspaper, to boycott the final match to be played in Mumbai if Pakistan was one of the teams to reach finals. He said that since Pakistan is responsible for the bomb blasts in Mumbai and terrorist activities in the country, all Indians should be united in opposing Pakistan. He also said that Pakistan’s loss was the fruit of their sins.
