Demonstrations by HJS against anti-Hindu play ‘Vastraharan’

Mumbai: Anti-Hindu Marathi play ‘Vastraharan’ was to be staged at one of the theatres in Borivali, Mumbai. Members of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) held silent demonstrations against the play near that theatre. The members of HJS were holding placards to create awareness among people about the anti-Hindu play; but people had no time to even read the matter written on the boards.

When people going to the theatre were told that there was denigration of deities and they should boycott the play, they told the members that first they would watch the play and later decide about the denigration. Some members of the audience said that since they had got the tickets, they would watch the play else it would be waste of money.
