Mulund (Mumbai): Mr. Shailesh Parkar, a member of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) stopped a teacher from a private school from taking children to church by explaining the matter to her.

A teacher from ‘Apple Kids’ nursery school planned to take children to see a church. When Mr. Shahsikant Parkar of HJS came to know about it, he called up Mrs. Sangita Ghag, a local municipal councilor and requested her to stop the teacher from taking children to church. She immediately called up the teacher and advised her to take the children to a temple rather than a church to inculcate right ‘sanskar’ in them. (Congratulations to Mrs. Ghag for taking action promptly and participate in ‘Dharmakarya’ ! – Editor SP) Later, the teacher informed parents of the students about cancellation of the visit when the parents told her that they had no objection to her taking the students to a church. (Christianized Hindu parents ! Hindus have forgotten their Dharma and ‘Dharmacharan’ due to the secular policy of the Congress Government parents and are, under western influence, completely Christianized. They have no objection to their children being taken to a church. What kind of ‘sanskar’ of Hindu Dharma will such parents inculcate in their children? – Editor SP)

The teacher started arguing with Mr. Parkar that even Muslim parents did not object to such visit; he told the teacher, “If the school was in Muslim-pre-dominant area, would Muslims grant permission? In Kashmir, Hindus and Muslims were living together; but with a ‘fatwa’ issued by a maulavi, they were ready to kill Hindus.” The teacher said that the children had fascination for church. (What the children of 3-4 age groups will know about a church and why will they be fascinated to see a church. It needs to be checked whether the grown-up Hindus feel attracted towards a church ! – Editor SP) Mr. Parkar said, “Owing to lack of ‘Dharmashikshan’, Hindus have such mentality. Temples of Hindus are sources of divine energy. Christians are adopting Hindu Dharma in outside countries. The Christian religion has progressed materialistically; but they have lost happiness, peace and satisfaction. When our Dharma is so superior, why should we take our children to a church?”

The teacher then said, “When in a Convent school, children are asked to say a prayer of Jesus, what will you do?” (This is the lack of love and respect pride for Hindu Dharma among Hindus towards their Dharma. Christians force Hindu children to say a prayer of Jesus and Hindus don’t object due to their lack of ‘Dharmabhiman’. Will a Hindu prayer be ever recited in a madarsa?- Editor SP) The teacher thus did not stop her argument even after an hour and insisted that she would take the children to see church as the parents had no objection. Mr. Parkar stopped explaining to her and prayed to Srikrushna for remaining positive in the matter. After one and a half hour, the teacher called him up and informed that the visit to a church was cancelled and the children would be taken to a garden. (Hindus should offer obeisance at the feet of Srikrushna for this success ! – Editor SP)
