Press conference on ‘Present political scenario of Nepal and future direction of agitation for Hindu Rashtra’

Hindu Rashtra Nepal turned ‘secular’ due to conspiracy hatched by ‘European Union’ and Congress Government ! – Dr. Madhav Bhattarai, President, Rashtriya Dharmasabha Nepal, Kathmandu

Ramnathi (Goa) : ‘The way Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj established Hindavi Swarajya in India by fighting against Muslim invaders, in the same manner, the Emperor of Nepal Pruthvinarayan Shah united Nepal 300 years ago. When the British were rampaging India, Emperor Pruthvinarayan did not allow the British even to enter Nepal. As a result, not a single Hindu in Nepal was converted. As an act of revenge for this, the European Union is trying, since
last few decades, to destroy the culture of Nepal which never became a slave. The monarchy in Nepal was destroyed by launching agitations in the name of democracy. 95 percent of people living in Nepal today support the ‘Hindu Rashtra’. A referendum was planned to be held on this issue, but due to the conspiracy hatched by the European Union, Communists and Christians, the word ‘secular’ was inserted in the Constitution of Nepal without holding the referendum. As a result, the only Hindu Rashtra on the earth was destroyed. Even the Congress Government in India has also played its part behind this’, informed, the President of ‘Rashtriya Dharmasabha Nepal’ Dr. Madhav Bhattarai. He was speaking on ‘Present political scenario of Nepal and future direction of agitation for Hindu Rashtra’ at a press conference organised on the occasion of 7th All India Hindu Convention. Adv. Pavitra Khadka of Nepal’s Supreme Court, Shri. Rajendra Alakh, Director of Brahmandiya Upachari Singh and working in Nepal, National Guide of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti Sadguru (Dr.) Charudatta Pingale were also present in the press conference.

Dr. Bhattarai further said, “To declare Nepal again as a Hindu Rashtra, we are uniting likeminded organisations. Along with this, we are creating awakening in Hindus through the mediums of meetings at national and regional levels, seminars of Pandits, conventions, etc. On this background, we expect moral support from devout Hindu organisations in India”.

Encroachment of other religious communities on Hindus’ traditional land in Sri Lanka !

A senior devout Hindu of Sri Lanka Shri. Maravanpulavu Sachithananthan, who used to attend Convention every year could not remain present this year. He has sent his representatives to attend the Convention. Shri. Sachithananthan while describing the plight of Tamil Hindus in Sri Lanka states, “The traditional land of Hindus’ region in Sri Lanka has been usurped by Muslims in last 25-30 years. For this, funds are provided from Gulf countries. The Hindu-majority Districts of Manaparai and Trincomalee have now become Muslim-majority. On the other side, thousands of Christian missionary organisations sponsored by Church are indulging in the conversion of Hindus on a large scale. We demand with the Indian Government that it should impress upon the Government of Sri Lanka to curb all inward remittances from foreign countries to missionary activities, both by Muslims and Christians. Indian Government should send expert sculptors to renovate war-damaged Hindu temples. If not, they will be converted to Churches, Mosques and Vihara’s”.

On this occasion Sadguru (Dr.) Charudatta Pingale stated, ”On looking at the minority appeasement and injustice done to Hindus under the guise of secularism in India, Modi Government should work towards the withdrawal of the secular constitution of Nepal. The 7th All India Hindu Convention totally supports the Nepali peoples’ demand of declaring Nepal as a ‘Hindu Rashtra’. Also, the conversion of Nepali Hindus by luring them or forcible means should be stopped. We also understand the pathetic state of Tamil Hindus in Sri Lanka. The 7th All India Hindu Convention is committed to getting justice to Sri Lankan Hindus.”
