Lasalgaon (Dist. Nashik, Maharashtra): A Hindu student returning from Home in Karnataka was prohibited entry in school and in the hostel without giving him any prior notice by ‘Seventh Day Adventist Higher Secondary School’; as a result, he had to stay on the railway platform for 4 days. (Where are the so-called progressive social organizations, human right activists, mass media etc. when suchincidents take place involving followers of other religions, that are a blot on humanity? – Editor SP) Mr. Nilesh Bora, a member of HJS intervened and took the matter to the police which was a great relief for the student.

Master Vinayak Arjun Kambale is studying in 7th standard in the above school and stays in its hostel. His money got over before Diwali. He was suffering from ringworm and had continuous pain in his stomach; therefore, he sought permission from the Principal to go home; but permission was not granted. On the following day, when he could not bear the pain, he went home without telling anybody. After two weeks as he returned, the School administration first collected fees from him and later denied him permission to enter either the school or the hostel. He was driven out of the school. He was, therefore, roaming near the school and later, stayed on the railway platform for 3-4 days with his bag and baggage. He didn’t have enough money to feed himself. The School did not bother to find out what the student was doing. (This incident shows that Christian missionaries, who project themselves as very loving, are in fact, so cruel, callous and coldhearted. Hindus must realize how injustice is done to Hindu students in such missionary schools propagating Christianity and think over whether to send their children to such schools ! – Editor SP)

Mr. Nilesh Bora, activist of HJS from Lasalgaon noticed this student and he enquired after him. The student told him everything. He consoled the student and took him to the Police Inspector (PI) Santoshgiri Gosavi at the police station. Mr. Sachin Holkar, the city-president of Youth Congress accompanied Mr. Bora. PI Gosavi was also shocked to hear the student’s story. He immediately contacted the Principal of the School. Then, some office bearers of the School came to the police station. PI explained to them the facts and warned them that such incident should not recur in future instructing to take the student with them. (Can police give guarantee that such incidents will not take place again just by giving such instructions? – Editor SP)

‘Seventh Day Adventist Higher Secondary School’ has been engaged in propagation of Christianity for many years and incidents like conversion of Hindus or oppression of students have been going on. HJS had undertaken a strong drive against the School two months ago; therefore, the school administration has somewhat started working within the brackets of law; but the above incident shows that school’s attitude towards students has not yet changed.
