Goa: HJS celebrated its 8th Anniversary with zest

Goa: 8th Anniversary of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS), which has undertaken a mission of imparting Dharma education, creating Dharmajahruti, protecting Dharma and uniting Hindus, was celebrated recently at Sri Dev Bodgeshvar auditorium in Mhapsa and at Sri Maruti Mandir in Margao in an auspicious atmosphere. More than 1650 proud Hindus attended the programme conveying their support to Samiti’s mission of uniting Hindus. 

Mr. Sadashiv Parab, a proud Hindu inaugurated the programme by worshipping Srikrushna. At that time all present there sung the Arati of Srikrushna and Sadguru together. Mr. Rajkumar Desai lighted the auspicious lamp. Mr. Niranjan Chodankar of HJS, was present on the dais. Proud Hindus. Dinesh Patil from Hanjun, Mr. Chandrakant alias Bhai Pandit from Mhapsa, Mr. Samir Joshi from Bicholi and Mrs. Hemlata Kalagutkar who support HJS mission were felicitated by Mr. Niranjan Chodankar. Mr. Rajkumar Desai acclaimed HJS
for taking the initiative in establishing Mandir Mahasangh in order to unite the trustees of the temples in Goa while addressing the gathering. Mr. Niranjan Chodankar too expressed his views at that time.

Mr. Umesh Naik, a proud Hindu,  who had supported the campaign of HJS opposing the distortion of History text book by N.C.E.R.T. and who is the head Master of Smt. Anandibai Naik High Scool at Karanjalem, Madkai inaugurated the function by lighting the auspicious lamp. Mr. Pashuram Prabhudesai was present on the dais. Mr. Chinmay Mujumdar from Ponda, a staunch Hindu and ever ready to participate  in the Mission of HJS, was felicitated by headmaster Mr. Umesh Naik. Mr. Naik praised the Samiti’s mission while addressing the gathering.

Smt. Lalan Kerkar, retd. ‘CDPO’ and a staunch Hindu, Mr. Anil Desai, Mr. Ulhas Naik, Ex-Headmistress of ‘MIBK’ School, Mrs. Anupa Kesarkar were felicitated for giving a helping hand to HJS in fulfilling its mission. All the visitors showed great enthusiasm in knowing the various activities of HJS while visiting the various stalls furnishing the information of HJS activities during the span of last 8 years, namely that of HJS, Dharma education, Ranragini, ‘periodicals of Sanatan Prabhart’, books, Snatan’s Kala Mandir, ‘Devasthan Unity’ in order to unite the trustees of the temples in Goa.
