HJS creates awareness among Ganesh Mandals

Badlapur (Maharashtra): A meeting was held of members of Ganesha festival committees (GFCs) from Kulgaon-Badlapur on 6th September at 11.00 a.m. on behalf of the police station. Senior Police Inspector Mr. Suresh Angadi, Mr. Joshi of Badlapur Peace Committee, a representative of Maharashtra Pollution Control Board, Mr. Ajay Sambhus of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) and about 35 members of 25 GFCs attended the meeting. The members were enlightened on the Ganesha festival by HJS.

Mr. Sambhus said, “Nowadays, all religious festivals are celebrated in a very perverted manner; therefore, HJS guides people on ideal manner to celebrate the Ganesha festival and even on how to take out an ideal procession. Today, the height of the idols is made very high about 20-25 feet; but there is desecration of these idols while immersing them in water. Sanatan has prepared a VCD on ideal Ganesha Festival and today’s reality which should be watched by the Committees.” PI Angadi gave necessary instructions to the members. Sanatan’s VCD on ideal way of celebrating Ganeshotsava will be telecast on the local cable in Kulgaon-Badlapur. PI Angadi assured to extend full cooperation.
