Creation of Panun Kashmir is necessary for preventing jihad in Kashmir : Rahul Razdan

Shri. Rahul Razdan, Vice President, ‘Youth for Kashmir’

Fanatics took over Afghanistan, Pakistan and now they are not only trying to push back Hindus from Kashmir but they are trying to come to even Delhi. To stop such jihadi terrorism, creation of ‘Panun Kashmir’ as union territory is most essential. Shri. Razdan said further that

1. In 1990, 4.5 lakh Hindus were driven out from Kashmir valley. There is lot of difference in mentality of fanatics then and now.

2. The fanatics then had fear that Hindus from all over India would support Kashmiri Hindus; but now, they have no such fear.

3. Leaders of fanatics at that time used to claim that they took to guns due to political injustice; but the present leaders openly say that it is a war for Islam. Moreover, they even threaten to kill separatists who consider the problem as political.

4. Temples which are under control of army are only left in Kashmir. The fanaticism has increased so much that the original Kashmiri language is also becoming extinct for instilling use of Urdu language.

5. The only thing that has not changed in Kashmir, is Government’s outlook. The present Government is protecting fanatics like earlier Governments and creation of ‘Panun Kashmir’ is required for changing this situation.
