Raigad : Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) held first-aid training work-shop at Radhakrushna Mandir, Vasheni which was attended by 50 persons. Kum. Arati Mhatre first spoke on the topic of ‘First-aid training – Need of the hour’ and Kum. Hemalata Divekar explained different things related to first-aid box. Smt. Bhalerao explained the theory about causes of heart attacks and its symptoms. Dr. (Kum) Aditi Bhalerao gave guidance on ‘Wounds and first-aid remedies on wounds’. Demonstrations on first-aid were presented during the last session of the work-shop.

1. Kum. Preeti Gawade showed interest in organizing first-aid training class in this village.
2. Shri Radhakrushna Mandir Samiti, ‘Khalchi Aali’ residents made available to HJS temple for holding the work-shop and for conducting ‘Dharmashikshan’.
3. Women from ‘Dharmashikshan’ class held at Dadar Bedi and Vasheni also participated in the work-shop.
