Hindus unsafe in Bangladesh !

Bangladesh Minority Watch, in a press release has said that (it) is deeply concerned about frequent abduction of minority girls from different locations of Bangladesh and demand immediate arrest of the perpetrators responsible for forceful marriage, trafficking, conversion by way of allurement or by force.

A fanatic named Mohammad Rana (20 years) was constantly following a tenth standard minor Hindu girl (the girl's name has been withheld to protect her privacy). He used to contact her on her mobile phone and tease her. On 3rd May 2014, the girl left her house to appear for an examination. She was waylaid by the fanatic Mohammad Rana and three of his friends who kidnapped the girl and took her to an undisclosed location. The girl's parents frantically lodged an FIR with the Madaripur Sadar Police and also appealed to the Bangladesh Minority Watch (BDMW) to help trace the girl. When BDMW learned that the fanatics had planned on forcefully converting the girl, they appoached the local government and initiated action to arrest the fanatics and recover the girl.

The police traced the victim to Dhaka and managed to bring her back to her parents on 7th June 2014 (after a month). BDMW has expressed happiness that the young girl was saved from the clutches of the fanatic jihadis. At the same time, BDMW conveyed their displeasure that the jihadis are still walking free as the police have not been able to trace them.
