Karnataka : RHA against proposed anti-superstitions Act

Devout Hindus staging demonstrations !

Shivmogga (Karnataka) : Karnataka Government presently ruled by Congress is trying to pass anti-superstitions Act in the coming winter session of State Legislative Assembly. It is actually an attempt to eradicate Hindus’ faith through this Act; therefore, demonstrations were staged under the aegis of ‘Rashtriya Hindu Andolan (RHA)’ at Shivmogga city in Shivmogga District of Karnataka to oppose passing of proposed ANiS Act. The other issue taken up during demonstrations held on 15th November, besides opposing anti-superstitions Act was condemning murders of ‘Hindutvavadis’ committed in Southern part of India. The demonstrations were held in front of the District Collector’s office. Karnataka State Human Rights and Eradication of Corruption Committee (KSHRECC), ‘Veer Shivappa Nayak Abhimani Gata’, Sanatan Sanstha and Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) were the organizations which participated in the demonstrations. Shri. Prasanna Kamat, District Coordinator of HJS and Shri. Manjunath Pujari of KSHRECC addressed the demonstrators. Many devout Hindus joined the demonstrations; besides 18 reporters and representatives of 2 news channels who were present for compilation of news.
