An Army Major was killed during a military exercise in Pokhran on Tuesday night. According to the initial reports, Major Dhruv Yadav of 75 Armoured regiment died due to an explosion during tank firing.
The Army has ordered a Court of Inquiry (CoI) into the incident.
The 32-year-old Major Yadav was from Haryana.
