HJS resolve to awaken people against anti-Hindu Acts

Jalgaon: On 10th June 2007, a meeting was organized by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) with local Hindus wherein it was decided that hand bills will be printed and distributed against the anti-Hindu Acts on anti-Superstition and taking over management of temples in order to create awareness amongst people. It was also decided to start a signature campaign against the said Acts.

Shri Panvalkar, spokesperson of HJS for Jalgaon, Dhule and Nandurbar districts explained the purpose of holding the meeting and background of HJS, various drives undertaken by HJS. Shri. Rajan Bunage, district-sevak explained the difference between other newspapers and ‘Daily Sanatan Prabhat’. A follow up meeting has been planned on 24th of June. Shri. Bhole, a BJP Municipal Councilor made available the place free of charge. Shri. Sunil Mali, another councilor of BJP from Jalgaon, Shri. Ashok Landvanjari, City-chief of BJP, Shri. Pramod Bhohite, founder of Akhil Bharatiya Bajarang Dal attended the meeting.

  • Shri. Rajumama Bhole, BJP Councilor: A Muslim donates about 5-10 % of his earnings for his religion. Hindus should also donate certain amount for their Dharma and send their offerings to HJS on their own.      
  • Shri. Haribhau Sonawane, Hindu Sangram Sena: HJS needs financial support for its religious and national activities. Temple trustees should make available funds from their earnings regularly to HJS.
  • Shri. Ajay Ingale: When I saw HJS banner against the anti-Hindu Bills at Shirdi, I decided to join HJS. I want to join a specific drive against destruction of ‘Ram-setu’.Shri. Shekhar Kulkarni: It is necessary to unite and fight both the anti-Hindu Acts. Only then, the Government will not dare to pass such Acts.
  • Shri. Umesh Sonawane: Hindus should boycott Christian schools.   
  • Shri. Narayan Pawar: Hindus should boycott Muslims and purchase their requirements only from Hindus.

  • Hindus wanted to learn the Sanskrit ‘shloka’ recited at the end of the meeting.          
  • Some Hindus decided to collect funds for HJS activities.
  • A few Hindus said that the popular and commercial newspapers advocate Congress policies. ‘Loksatta’ supports socialists, whereas ‘Maharashtra Times’ propagates secularism. There is no news in  these papers which will make people aware of Dharmajagruti. Hindus should boycott such newspapers.
  • Shri. Rajumama Dhumal said that everyday Dainik Sanatan Prabhat should be read to gain knowledge on Dharma and heretics
  • Shri. Pawar, the owner of ‘Pawar News Agency’ asked for additional copies of Dainik Sanatan Prabhat.
  • It was generally decided to stage all demonstrations under the flag of HJS.
