Peth (Taluka Ambegaon), Pune – A special lecture on the topic ‘Love: Real or Illusion?’ was organised by the Ranragini wing of the Hindu Janajagruti Samiti at the local Shri Datta Temple, with the objective of ensuring the safety of girls and young women.

On this occasion, Shri. Raghunath Dhobale of the Hindu Janajagruti Samiti highlighted the tactics of jihadis to deceive and lure young Hindu women bunder the guise of ‘love’ and ‘friendship’. He emphasised that it has become absolutely essential for parents and young women to remain highly vigilant and aware.

To illustrate the gravity of the situation, Shri. Dhobale cited Nagaland, claiming that the emergence of a new Naga community known as the ‘Sumia’ tribe is attributed to the influence of love jihad. Using this example, he conveyed the seriousness of the issue to the attendees and stressed the necessity of Dharmacharan (abiding by Dharma).

Following the lecture, attendees expressed a strong need to organise similar awareness programmes across every village to create greater awareness on this topic in society.

The event saw active participation from a large number of villagers and local women. Notable attendees included Peth Gram Panchayat member Smt. Archana Butte, Shri Datta Temple trustee Shri. Sahebrao Shinde, H.B.P. Sonalitai Butte, and Guruvarya Vasantbaba Ichke of the Adinath Sampraday, alongside several other local citizens.
