Hindu Janajagruti Samiti’s ‘Har Ghar Yoddha’ Camp empowers youth in Chiplun

Chiplun, Maharashtra – To enable Hindu young women and men to protect themselves against fanatic elements, the ‘Har Ghar Yoddha Training Camp’ was organised by the Hindu Janajagruti Samiti. This camp was held from 10 to 19 June at the Gurudakshina Hall of the Parshuram Education Society. Youth from Chiplun Taluka benefited from this camp. The camp participants were presented with demonstrations of karate, lathi, and dandakhali (chain-sticks). The Dharma-loving youth who completed the self-defence course at the camp were awarded certificates at the hands of Shri. Anurag Utekar and Shri. Prashant Utekar.

Addressing the attendees, Shri. Anurag Utekar the Co-coordinator of the Hindu Rashtra Samanvay Samiti stated, “Today, conversion conspiracies have come to light within the highly educated ‘corporate’ sector. Not just in cities, but Hindu girls from villages too are facing harassment from such jihadi elements while pursuing education or at their workplaces. For this reason, along with receiving self-defence training for their own safety, girls must observe the people around them and always remain alert”.

On this occasion, Shri. Prashant Utekar highlighted the rising cases of love jihad in the Chiplun area and provided details of some major incidents.

Shri. Vinayak Kangane of Sanatan Sanstha shed light on the importance of spiritual practice to increase spiritual strength alongside physical strength, and to gain a divine foundation for one’s actions.

Guidance was also provided by the National First-Aid volunteer of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti, Dr Sadhana Jarali. The programme was compered by Ku. Divya Ghag.

  2. Aditya Tambe: After receiving this training myself, I will teach it to others as well.
  3. Dr Avanti Gound: Such camps should be held regularly. Only if women take self-defence lessons and practice regularly will their confidence increase, enabling them to face difficult situations.
  4. Vinod Shinde (Parent): All Hindus should take training to become warriors.
  5. Vinit Sinkar: I experienced an increase in my strength during this camp.
