Shiv Sena MLC Dr Manisha Kayande takes up issue with CM following comprehensive HJS report

Mumbai – Shiv Sena MLC and Chief Whip Dr Manisha Kayande has demanded a high-level Special Investigation Team (S.I.T.) probe into the institutional torture of Hindu students and staff at a Solapur government ITI. Addressing Chief Minister and Home Minister Devendra Fadnavis, she called for strict action over the mental, physical, financial, and religious harassment of around 150 female students and nine employees. Taking cognisance of this report, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis ordered the Police Commissioner of Solapur to thoroughly investigate the entire matter and take action.
Report submitted by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti
The Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) had been consistently tracking the issue, and had presented a detailed report to Dr Kayande. The submission included primary evidence, official documents, and formal complaints lodged by the affected students and staff.
Dr Kayande met the Chief Minister in person and handed over this report to him. The document outlines how the administrative practices of the institute’s Muslim Group Director (Group Instructor), Mrs Rameja Kampli, have subjected 150 Hindu female students and nine Hindu employees to systemic mental, physical, financial, and religious harassment. The report further alleges that these individuals are being targeted through institutional intimidation in a deliberate attempt to force them out of the institute.
Misuse of personal information and financial extortion
The report further states that the students’ personal data is being leaked to local Muslim individuals, who subsequently harass them. Furthermore, permanent staff members are reportedly subjected to financial exploitation, with unauthorised deductions of 1,000 to 3,000 rupees taken from their salaries. Although a formal complaint detailing these grievances was lodged with the Skill Development Department on 27 March 2026, a lack of decisive action despite repeated follow-ups ultimately led the victims to threaten self-immolation.
Dr Manisha Kayande calls for immediate disciplinary action
Dr Manisha Kayande urged the Chief Minister to immediately dismiss the Group Instructor, Mrs Rameja Kampli, and initiate strict legal proceedings against her. She further demanded a comprehensive investigation into all other complicit individuals, calling for stringent disciplinary action against those found guilty. In response to these demands, the Chief Minister issued the aforementioned directives.

Corporate jihad in Solapur: 150 Hindu girls and 9 Hindu staff harassed at Solapur ITI

Solapur, Maharashtra – A shocking case of ‘corporate jihad’ has come to light at the Government Women’s Industrial Training Institute (ITI) here. The physical, mental, and religious harassment of 150 female students and 9 Hindu employees of the institute has been disclosed. In this regard, the employees submitted a written representation to the Additional Chief Secretary of the Skill Development Department on 27 March 2026, demanding action. According to the representation, the government has constituted a committee to investigate the allegations, and a team from this committee recently visited the college of the Industrial Training Institute.

The net of ‘love jihad’ and the ideological brainwashing of students
The institute’s Muslim group-instructor, Rameeza Kampli, appointed a woman named Rukhsar Sheikh on an hourly basis in violation of the rules. It is alleged that Rukhsar Sheikh taught the students highly perverted and provocative things, such as, “Fall in love, and if your parents do not permit marriage, slit your wrists.” The students themselves testified tearfully before the media that lessons on love were taught in the college. Additionally, Rameeza defamed Hindu female students by linking their names with various boys. It is alleged that the majority of the boys with whom the Hindu girls’ names were linked were Muslims.
In this context, the ‘Sakal Hindu Samaj’ has submitted a representation to the Chairperson of the High-Level Chief Office Investigation Committee.
Religious discrimination and the systemic harassment of Hindu students
A highly toxic religious atmosphere was created within the institute. When a student from the parlour trade requested leave due to a fever, a mocking comment was made targeting her kumkum- “You apply Kumkum, you cannot possibly fall ill.” This comment has been described as anti-Hindu and insulting. Inhumane advice such as “drink less water” was given so that students would not have to use the toilets during their menstrual cycles. It is also alleged that Rameeza incited Muslim students against Hindu teachers.
Key allegations emerging from the complaint filed with the Additional Chief Secretary
- Hindu employees were deliberately harassed and removed from their posts, and individuals from the Muslim community were illegally recruited in their place without any advertisement or experience.
- Permanent employee Smt. Swati Pukale was harassed and forced out. As soon as the post in the T.W.P.T. (Textile Wet Processing Technician) branch became vacant, Nahid Sheikh was recruited without any advertisement or experience. Almas Sheikh was appointed despite having no experience in the Fruit and Vegetable trade.
- Despite the hourly-paid employee Tamanna Sheikh being absent for 5 months, students were not taught the relevant subject for those 5 months just to ensure that no Hindu person was appointed there, and later a Muslim person was recruited for that position too.
- Taking advantage of being the admissions head, a teacher named Rameeza did not provide complete admission information to Hindu girls, whereas priority was given to Muslim girls, who were taught sitting separately in Mr. Arif Sheikh’s class.
- A bribe of 1,000 rupees is demanded every month by Rameeza to sign the bills of the employees.
- Despite raw materials for practicals being provided free of cost by the government, Rameeza and other Muslim employees pressured the students to buy uniform cloth and tailoring materials at prices higher than the market rate.
- Cleaning staff Archana Jadhav was removed, and Zakir Suleman was recruited. Following protests, Archana Jadhav was taken back, but she is now being subjected to severe mental harassment.
- Following the Badlapur incident, the Government of Maharashtra ordered the appointment of only female cleaning staff to clean toilets in women’s colleges and schools. Despite this, a Hindu female cleaning staff member was removed, and a Muslim man was appointed as a cleaner in the girls’ institute. This is a highly serious matter and a case of administrative negligence from the perspective of the students’ safety.
- It is alleged that Rameeza would halt academic work for 4 days every month and forcefully make 150 students perform strenuous labour, such as sweeping, mopping, and cutting bushes. In this, several students suffered injuries and fainted. Any student who protested was followed to her house and threatened.
- When the then Principal, Shri. Amar Jadhav, attempted to stop these illegal acts, Rameeza’s husband threatened to kill him and run a truck over him, forcing him out of the institute. Now, the students who have raised their voices are also being pressured with threats of lawsuits being filed against them.
