Strong participation in collective celebrations across Pune, Solapur, Akola and other districts

Gudhi Padwa, marking the commencement of the Hindu New Year, was celebrated with great enthusiasm across Maharashtra, with large-scale participation in collective ‘gudhi pujan’ programmes organised by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti at multiple locations across the state.
Pune

In Pune district, celebrations were held at several places including Kasba Peth, Alandewadi, Kenjal, Pargaon (Salu-Malu), Shri Shirsai Mata Mandir (Gokwadi), Paud, Moi village, Urse, Shri Radhakrishna Mandir, Tukaai Tekdi, Kalepadal, Hadapsar and Adhe Maval. These events were organised under the joint auspices of the Hindu Janajagruti Samiti and Mandir Mahasangh.
At Shri Radhakrishna Mandir, Tukaai Tekdi (Kalepadal, Hadapsar), the programme was graced by the revered presence of Sanatan Santha’s Saint, Pujya Manisha Pathak. The Samiti also conducted awareness sessions in schools, housing societies and temples across the district, educating citizens on the spiritual significance of Gudhi Padwa. Demonstrations on the correct method of erecting a gudhi were conducted, along with informational displays. Citizens participated enthusiastically in large numbers.
Solapur

In Solapur district, collective ‘gudhi pujan’ was organised at 15 locations, drawing participation from hundreds of citizens. Prominent venues included Mallikarjun Mandir, Shri Ganesh Mandir (Damaninagar), Shri Ganapati Mandir (Ramdevnagar, Shelgi), Vinkar Vasahat (Gandhinagar), Venkatesh Mandir (Ashok Chowk), Siddh Ganesh Hanuman Mandir (70 Foot Road), Neelamnagar, Brahmanathnagar, Vaishnav Maruti Mandir (Old Gharkul), Rudra Maruti Mandir, New Gharkul S-Point, Poshma Mandir (Vinayaknagar) and Ramgalli in Akkalkot, among others.

Programmes across these locations included Brahmadhwaj pujan, aarti of Prabhu Shri Ram, namjap (chanting), and a collective resolve towards the establishment of a Hindu Rashtra. In several areas, the gudhi was erected collectively for the first time, creating a strong sense of unity and enthusiasm among participants.
At Shri Datta Mandir (Old Gharkul, D-2 Group), participants included Shri. Yash Mugadyal, Kum. Shivalila Gubyad and Shri. Girish Goski of Swarajali News Channel. Notably, young women trained in self-defence took initiative in organising activities, with attendees raising slogans and resolving to remain committed to protection of Dharma.
Akola

In Akola district, collective gudhi pujan was conducted at Shri Hanuman Mandir, Phadke Nagar, where devout citizens gathered and took a pledge for the establishment of a Hindu Rashtra.
Buldhana

A similar programme was also organised in Chikhli (Buldhana district), where participants came together in a spirit of devotion and unity, and pledged to work towards the establishment of a Hindu Rashtra.
Celebrating festivals in a scripturally appropriate manner strengthens social harmony, fosters unity and reinforces cultural values within society.
