Women must be prepared to protect the Nation and Dharma – Kranti Petkar, HJS

Hindu Sammelan 0rganised in Peth (Ambegaon)

Pune, Maharashtra – In today’s times, it is necessary for women to receive Dharmashikshan (education about Dharma) and self-defence training, and to be prepared to protect the Nation and Dharma. One should stop the blind imitation of Western culture and practise sadhana while following our great Hindu culture. Various kinds of threats are active in society today, and the crisis has reached our doorstep; therefore, we must remain alert and be prepared to face it. These views were expressed by Kranti Petkar of the Ranragini wing of the Hindu Janajagruti Samiti.

She was speaking at a Hindu Sammelan (convention) organised by the Sakal Hindu Samaj in Peth (Ambegaon).

The programme began with a Gram Pradakshina, followed by Naam-sankirtan conducted by ISKCON. This was followed by the worship of Gau-mata and the recitation of Atharvashirsha. The programme was conducted by H.B.P. Amit Maharaj Katale.
