HJS conducts self-defence training programme at Vile Parle college

Mumbai – With the rise in social evils, terrorist attacks, and increasing crimes against young women, safeguarding oneself, one’s family, and society has become a necessity in today’s times. Therefore, young men and women should take self-defence training and shoulder the responsibility of protecting the nation, appealed Mrs. Madhura Nejjur of the Hindu Janajagruti Samiti while addressing students at Nava Samaj Mandal Degree College in Vile Parle.

A self-defence initiative was conducted at the college on behalf of the Hindu Janajagruti Samiti. A large number of students from the college participated in the initiative. On this occasion, various issues were discussed with the students, and youth organisers from HJS also presented practical demonstrations related to self-defence.

“The programme helped us understand the importance of self-defence,” said Pratik Mohite, one of the students who participated in the programme.
