‘Ranragini’ demands strict action against the accused Allahbaksh Sayyadabade.

Porvorim (Goa) – A distressing incident has emerged from Porvorim in Goa, where a van driver ferrying school children, identified as Allahbaksh Sayyadabade, sexually assaulted a six-year-old girl. The ‘Ranragini’ wing of the Hindu Janajagruti Samiti has strongly condemned this inhumane act.
Through a formal memorandum submitted to the administration, Ranragini has urged the government to ensure that the culprit receives exemplary punishment, serving as a deterrent against such heinous crimes. Furthermore, Ranragini has demanded that the government ensure justice for the victim’s family and provide them with comprehensive psychological support.
The memorandum highlighted that this incident raises serious concerns regarding the safety of school-going children in the state. While Ranragini has repeatedly petitioned the government regarding sexual assault cases, the ultimate legal outcomes of these cases often remain shrouded in uncertainty.
The memorandum further stated that alongside such incidents, Hindu girls are also facing the threat of ‘love jihad’. They are being lured into ‘love traps’ for religious conversion, and are subjected to violence if they refuse to convert. Citing cases such as that of Shraddha Walkar as evidence, the organisation emphasised that it is the need of the hour for citizens to remain highly vigilant to avoid falling victim to such traps.
