Shivpremis participate in Hindu Janajagruti Samiti’s ‘A Day in presence of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’ campaign

Malvan (Sindhudurg): As part of the Hindu Janajagruti Samiti’s heritage campaign, ‘A Day in presence of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’, a cleanliness drive was carried out at the historic Sindhudurg Fort on 30 November 2025. More than 50 Shivpremis participated in the activity, held at the fort sanctified by the presence of the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
The programme commenced at the Shri Shivrajeshwar Temple located within the fort premises, where floral offerings and a coconut ritual were performed before Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, followed by worship of Shri Bhavani Mata. After the ceremony, volunteers began collecting dry waste, plastic and other litter around the fort. Grass cutting and removal of thorny shrubs were also undertaken as a part of the campaign.

During the event, participants engaged in chanting the Name of Shri Bhavani Devi, explored various parts of the fort, and practised shakti sadhana through self-defence training. Local history enthusiast Mr. Hitesh Wayangankar offered insights into the glorious past of the Sindhudurg Fort, enriching the experience for all the participants.

The initiative received strong support from Mr. Sayaji Sakpal, President and chief priest of the Shri Shivrajeshwar Temple. At the conclusion of the programme, all participants resolved to work towards the establishment of a Hindu Rashtra, reaffirming their dedication to the cause.
