Netizens take Riteish-Genelia to task for mocking King Dasharatha and Draupadi in Insta reel

Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D’Souza shared a Insta reel in which Riteish tells his wife that King Dasharatha had three wives, I can also marry three, right? In response to which Genelia immediately gives the example of Draupadi.

After watching the reel, netizens are protesting in the comments.

One user wrote, “You have given an example, but do you have the qualities of King Dasharatha and your wife of Draupadi? Please do not use such holy names just for fun”.

Another user wrote, “Please stop making jokes on Sanatan, otherwise you too would have heard the name of Boycott”. Another user wrote, “Don’t make such comedy videos on Hindu religion sir, we respect you a lot. This is my request to you”.

As entertainers @Riteishd and @geneliad have the right to cater to their fans but they dont have right to offend the sentiments of crores of Hindus in the name of entertainment!

We expect Ritesh and Genelia to be socially responsible and immediately take this offensive…

In this way, religious sentiments of crores of Hindus have been hurt by disrespecting King Dasharatha and Draupadi. All devout Hindus are requested to protest this reel through legal means and demand its removal.
