Administration should impose ban on Chinese crackers, demands HJS

HJS submits representation to Dy. District Collector

Kolhapur : Stop denigration of Deities and our great national leaders which is taking place through their pictures printed on crackers and impose ban on illegal sale of Chinese crackers were the demands made by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) through representation submitted to Dy. District Collector Bhausaheb Galande on 23rd October. Shri. Sambhajirao Bhokare, Dy. District-Chief of Shiv Sena, Shri. Raju Yadav, its Karveer Taluka-Chief, Shri. Manohar Sorap, District Chief of ‘Hindu Mahasabha’ and its other members viz. Shri. Maruti Mirajkar, Shri Baban Harane and Shri. Santosh Pawar, along with Shri. Shivananda Swami of HJS were present on the occasion.

Stop adulteration in sweets

Sale of sweets goes up considerably during Diwali festival. Many businessmen take advantage of the situation and are involved in adulteration of the raw material required for making sweets such as ghee, ‘mawa’, silver-foils etc. so as to earn more profits though endangering life of citizens. Adulterated sweets can lead to different serious ailments; therefore, the Government should regularly conduct checking of sweets made by these sweet-makers and take stringent action against those involved in adulteration of sweets, was also the demand made through the representation.

Similar representation submitted at Miraj and Jaisingpur

Similar representations with the above demands were submitted even at Miraj (Sangli District) at regional office by activists of HJS when Shri. Vitthal Mugalkhod, a reader of ‘Sanatan Prabhat’ periodicals was also present. Dy. Police Inspector Navanath Sul was handed over such representation at Jaisingpur (Dist. Kolhapur).

Representation submitted to District Collector and President of Cracker manufacturers’ Association at Satara

Satara : Representation was submitted to District Collector Shweta Singhal by HJS with the support of ‘Yoga Vedanta Seva Samiti’ and ‘Hindu Mahasabha’. Shri. Deepak Shinde, the President of Cracker manufacturers’ association, Satara taluka, was also handed over such representation by Shri. Shivaraj Talwar and Shri. Sanket Shinde of ‘ShriShivapratishthan Hindustan’, Shri. Rahul Kolhapure of Sanatan Sanstha and Shri. Hemant Sonawane and Shri. Anandrao Padale of HJS.

Representation submitted to Tehasildar and police at Karad

Karad : HJS submitted representation to Tehasildar Vijay Mane; to city Police inspector Sarjerao Gaikwad, Dy. Regional police officer Suraj Gurav and Chief Officer Yashawant Dange of Karad Municipality. Shri. Shashikant Hapase of Shiv Sena, Shri. Lakshman Pawar, Shri. Baburao Palekar, Shri. Arun Jadhav and Shri. Suresh Bhasme of Sanatan Sanstha and Shri. Madan Sawant of HJS were present on the occasion.
