The detrimental effects of ‘Valentine Day’

Badlapur (Thane, Maharashtra): ‘Valentine’s Day’ is celebrated because we follow western culture. Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) gave guidance on the subject at Adarsh College in Badlapur. This was attended by 125 students. Mr. Kartik Salunkhe addressed the students on behalf of HJS and Mrs. Rashmi Prabhu and Mr. Sudarshah Joshi of HJS also joined him. Teachers Mrs. Pande and Mrs. Soman extended special cooperation.

One student asked, “This is the day to express love. What is wrong with that?” (Blind following of western culture and lack of ‘Dharma shikshan’ is the reason that today’s students are not awrae of what is right and what is wrong. This emphasizes the need for ‘Dharmashikshan’ ! – Editor SP) She was then explained present position of Dharma and Hindus due to following western culture. She said that whatever was taught to them since childhood was what they believed. (This shows that even the parents have no respect and love towards Dharma; therefore, attend ‘Dharmashikshan classes’ conducted by HJS and get ready to protect Dharma. – Editor SP) “We were not aware of this. Now, we will not celebrate Valentine’s Day’.”
