Utilising the gold in temples in Government schemes, is an abuse to the devotees’ faith ! – HJS

Why not the management looking after the affairs of temples realise that what a small organisation like HJS can ?

Mumbai : The Siddhivinayak Temple in Mumbai and Sri Sai Sansthan in Shirdi which are taken over by the State Government have decided to invest 40 kg. gold and 200 kg. gold respectively in Central Government’s Gold bar production Scheme. This decision is misuse of Deity’s fund. To melt the ornaments offered by devotees with intense faith to the Deities to produce gold bars is destroying devotees’ faith. Mr. Ramesh Shinde, national spokesperson of the Samiti has demanded issuing a press note stating that the temples should not use those ornaments in the Government scheme.
