Ponda (Goa) : Legal battle fought for protection of Dharma should be fought with the perspective of doing ‘Dharma-seva’. It is necessary to gain spiritual strength through spiritual practice to achieve the same.

The above valuable views were expressed by Sanatan Sanstha’s honorary legal advisor, advocate Ramdas Kesarkar during a work-shop held for devout advocates of Goa by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) on 3rd May 2015 at Sanatan’s Ramnathi Ashram for the purpose of creating awareness towards issues related to protection of nation and Dharma and prevention of attacks on Hindu culture. Contribution of legal practitioners is very important in fighting court battles against attacks on Dharma and culture; therefore, it is necessary to unite all devout Hindu advocates and HJS has taken initiative in this drive.

Dr. Manoj Solanki, the State Coordinator for HJS for Goa first explained current situation of nation and Dharma; attacks on Hindus creating need for unification of Hindus and perspective of HJS in this connection. Advocate Nagesh Takbhate, the Joint Secretary of Hindu Vidhidnya Parishada (HVP), Goa explained about cases fought by HVP in various Courts in Goa and their success achieved with God’s grace. Advocate Gajanan Naik informed about legal cases fought in different Courts in Goa for protection of cows without charging anything as ‘seva’. Advocates attending the work-shop expressed their readiness in taking part in activities to stop attacks on nation, Dharma and Hindu culture. They also made a resolve to create awareness amongst other devout and patriotic legal practitioners so that they too would join such activities.
