Kumbh Mela 2013

Untreated municipal sewage and industrial toxics are viewed as the worst demons for the Ganga. They pollute the oxygen-rich water, making it unfit even for bathing or washing. But some experts and activists have a different take on the issue. They argue that the perennial river has enough natural flow to cleanse itself.

All Saints bestowed their blessings after seeing the exhibition, for accomplishment of the mission of a healthy Hindu Rashtra .

Pandit Rajaram Tiwari had shouldered complete responsibility for devotees while sitting in a small tent. He helped 1,50,000 devotees lost in Kumbh Mela rejoin their families.

Prayagaraj (UP) : I feel guilty that I am very late in visiting the venue of this exhibition. I am staying in Kumbh Mela from 14th January. Since then, I am feeling pleasure for the first time by visiting here.

Prayagaraj (UP) : The exhibition organised by Sanatan Sanstha is a noble mission towards Dharma, and this mission is being performed by sacrificing body, mind, and wealth (Tan-Man-Dhan).

A Chintan (Contemplation) meeting on the topic ‘Stop the slaughter of cow-lineage’ was organised by Rashtriya Go-raksha Sangh in Kumbh Mela.

Kumbh Mela was under a shadow of terror after the serial bomb blasts in Bhagyanagar. More than 80 lakh devotees took the Holy bath in Kumbh Mela under tight security, on 25th February, the day of Magh Pournima.

Prayagaraj (UP) : Due to incessant rains for 2 days from the day of Vasant Panchami, the basic facilities in Kumbh city have been thrown out of gear. In addition, due to increase in the levels of water in the rivers Ganga and Yamuna, the artificial banks are submerging under water one after another.

A large number of Muslims dwell in the area surrounding the railway station. Therefore, Muslims have erected a Masjid right on the platform no. 1. This is an only example in the entire country of a Masjid being erected on a railway platform. Since a Masjid has been erected here, Muslims regularly use this place for visits

Prayagaraj (UP) : After the last Holy bath of Vasant Panchami was over, and Sants, Sages and Mahamandaleshwars of Juna Akhada departed from Kumbh city, Panchayati Akhada also left Kumbh Mela on 17th February.
