Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma said, “This matter is serious. We think that this kind of ban should be imposed right away; but we will try to ban halal products in a week’s time. We are discussing the matter in detail with the Chief Minister. Shiv Sena MLAs demand ban on Halal products in Maharashtra as done in UP

Palm oil pack given by the Maharashtra Government is Halal certified

Diwali festival recently got over. On the occasion of Diwali, the Maharashtra Government distributed ‘Joy ration (Anandacha shidha)’ (Food items such as semolina, gram dal, sugar, and edible oil are given at the ration shop for Rs 100 only).
