Guwahati : For supporting Triggering movement to build Ram temple in Ayodhya, Guwahati Unit of Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) will organise Ram Mahotsav on Sunday.
VHP’s city unit secretary, Robin Chandra Bhuyan said, “The idea behind the Ram Mahotsav is to spearhead the cause of Ram temple by making the young generation aware of the ideals of Lord Ram. The Ram Mahotsav is being organised in the state following VHP’s marg darshan mandal (central decision-making body) decision in Allahabad on January this year.”
The Mahotsav will be addressed by VHP’s international general secretary Champat Rai. Bhuyan said Rai will chart out the action plan on how we can mobilize supports in the state for the Ram temple cause.
VHP has organised different programmes in different areas of Assam as part of the Mahotsav.
