Maharashtra is on the path of peace, virtues and ‘sanskars’ owing to Warkars : CM

Shrikshetra Alandi (Pune) : Since the last 800 years, Maharashtra State is on the path of peace, virtues and ‘sanskars’ and it is because of Warkari Sampradaya. Warkari Sampradaya has kept alive Bhagavat Dharma, humanity and sensitivity in human. In the year 1990, we adopted globalization policy; but Saint Dnyaneshwar had advocated globalization in 13th century through his ‘Pasay-daan’, stated Chief Minister Devendra Fadanvis during a program held on the occasion of its centenary year of ‘Warkari Shikshan Sanstha (WSS)’ founded by ‘Swanand Sukhnivasi Jog Maharaj’ on 27th March. Shri. Anna Hazare, a senior social worker, Shri. Girish Bapat, Guardian Minister, H. H. 1008 Mahamandaleshwar Vishweshwarananda Giriji, H.B.P. Rameshwar Shastri Maharaj, WSS –President H.B.P. Maruti Maharaj Kurhekar, H.B.P. Sandipan Maharaj Hasegaonkar, H.B.P. Ramrao Maharaj Dhok, Dr. Ajit Kulkarni, the President of ‘Alandi Sansthan’, Mayor Vaijayanta Umaragekar etc along with many Saints, Mahants and members of municipal council were present on the occasion.

H.B.P. Maruti Maharaj Kurhekar and H.B.P. Sandipan Maharaj Hasegaonkar presented a shawl, shreephal, memento, bouquet and Warkari ‘pugree’ to the Chief Minister. The program started with ‘Isha-stavan’ by H.B.P. Radhakrushna Garad Guruji; followed with introductory speech by Ramayanacharya and Trustee of WSS, H.B.P. Ramrao Maharaj Dhok giving information about WSS. H.B.P. Sandipan Maharaj Hasegaonkar did ‘thanks-giving’ and the program was ended with ‘Pasay-daan’.

While commending WSS, the CM said that

1. Warkari Sampradaya works with the blessings of Shri Vitthal and Dnyanoba-Tukaram. This educational institute has contributed to society through taking up important share of its mission. This institute imparts knowledge.

2. A person gets education from external sources but he doesn’t acquire knowledge. Till whatever we learn is not put into practice, ‘sanskar’ and rationale is not developed. This institution is walking on the path of imparting knowledge.

Water of River Indrayani got contaminated due to sins of Pimpri-Chinchwad ! – CM

In his speech, the CM said that water of Indrayani got contaminated due to sins of Pimpri-Chinchwad. If the river gets pure water from Pimpri-Chinchwad, River would not get polluted. Cleaning of the River, for keeping it live and keep areas around the river clean will be done jointly by Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation and Alandi Town Council. The Government is committed to development of Alandi. Warkaris are not getting potable water and the Town Council should soon submit a proposal to the Government for solving this problem. The Government will make available required funds for the same.

WSS will blend science and spirituality ! – Shri. Anna Hazare, a senior social worker

Shri. Anna Hazare said that science has entered space; but spirituality teaches going to inner mind. With the present excessive use of science, there is likelihood of science taking man to destruction; therefore, blending between science and spirituality will help man to progress and this will certainly be done by WSS.

While lauding WSS activities, he said that the present transformation in Maharashtra is due to Warkaris. Today’s educational institutes create persons who can write and read; but Warkaris created by WSS can bring in transformation. Presently, the education quality has deteriorated. Teachers trained in WSS should be given a degree by the Government so that they can start teaching in schools. If they start going to villages, it will bring total change in students and whole village leading to huge transformation in the State.

CM performs ‘puja’ for construction of building for seekers’ lodging and marquee

Before start of the program, the Chief Minister performed ‘puja’ of the land where residence of seekers and the marquee will be constructed by WSS. The CM announced donation of Rs. 1 crore for WSS during his speech. He also said that there would be no reservation on the land where ‘puja’ was performed and promise given to Warkaris would not be broken. He also offered to extend any other help if required by WSS from the Government saying that the donation would be for a deserving cause and it would help in creating cultured citizens from billions of people, leading to creation of good Bharat. Highlight : Dr. Kulkarni, the President of ‘Alandi Sansthan’ gave donation of Rs. 6.25 lakhs to WSS.
