Thane : Bajrang Dal activists nab truck carrying 400 kgs of beef

One more example of violation of Act banning cow/ cattle slaughter in the State !

Thane : Bajrang Dal activists nabbed a truck carrying beef illegally from Nashik towards Mumbai. The truck was stopped near Kharegaon toll in Thane around 5 a.m. and was handed over to police. Police have confiscated 400 kgs of beef from this tempo. Local activists of Bajrang Dal got information about beef being transported and passing by Kharegaon toll; therefore, they laid trap based on this information and stopped the tempo. Tempo-driver Mohammad Rais Qureshi promptly informed and called his other accomplices for help. A gang of fanatics gathered for help of tempo-driver. (Fanatics gather immediately even at unknown place after receiving just one call; which shows that they were, before hand, aware of the likely obstacles in transporting beef. Now, are police going to investigate the gang of criminals or leave it after just arrest of the nabbed accused ? – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat) There were arguments between Bajrang Dal activists and fanatics as fanatics left the place after threatening activists. The activists handed over the truck loaded with beef, along with its driver, to police. Driver and his accomplice Naushad Ibrahim have been arrested.
