Ghouri demolished the Somnath temple to loot wealth concealed by Brahmins !

Panji : In the discussions sessions organized by Gomantak Marathi Academy on the
literature of Arjun Parab, speakers criticized Brahmins and praised the anti-Hindu and most cruel Muslim Rulers like Aurangzeb and Mohammad Ghouri. The program was conducted at Marathi Bhavan of Gomantak Marathi Academy in Parvari. Inauguration of
the program was done by Shri. Dnyanesh Maharao, Editor of ‘Weekly Chitralekha’ who is known to be anti-brahmins, by garlanding photograph of saint Dnyaneshwar and lighting a lamp.

There was a reading of some of the essays written by the students of literature of
Arjun Parab. Later, in his Presidential speech, while justifying the destruction of Sorti Somnath temple by Mohammad Ghouri, Shri. Maharao said that under the idols in that temple, Brahmins had concealed lot of wealth. Therefore, Mohammad Ghouri had to break the head of Somnath 16 times to unearth that wealth. Brahmins used religion to amass wealth; but Brahmins did not learn a lesson even after 16 attacks on Somnath. He
criticized even Lokmanya Tilak. He said that Tilak said that Swaraj was his birth right. He did not say Swaraj was our birth right as he had no love for all Indians. Shri Gurudas Saval,the President of Gomantak Marathi Academy was given a representation that Shri.
Dnyanesh Maharao, Shri. yadnyeshwar Nigale and Shri. Arjun Parab always criticize
Brahmins and Hindu religion. But Shri. Saval gave his word that such things would not
happen. Even then, in the said program, there was criticism on Hindu religion, Brahmins and Deities. On top of it, Shri. Saval said while concluding the program that he was given a representation by Shri. Nadkarni from Ponda. But truth is a truth and it has to be accepted.
