Warakari Sect : “No entry for CM this year in Pandharpur!”

Ashadh Shuddha Navami

Pune (Maharashtra): The Central and the State Governments are scheming to allocate land to an American company called ‘Dow’ which is notorious for its research work in reducing population, for starting a chemical plant at Bhandara, Bhamachandra and Korvadeshwar, the places blessed by Jagat-Guru Saint Tukaram.

A warning has been given by Warakari Sect that entry would be forbidden to the State Chief Minister during ‘Ashadhi’ festival unless declaration is not made of shifting the project out of Maharashtra and even out of the country and unless the Government does not declare Bhamachandra Hill as a reserved land where Jagat-Guru Saint Tukaram had self-realization (‘Sakshatkar’). The Central and State Governments are very eager to allocate land to bring ‘Dow Chemicals’ company on the sacred land of Saint Tukaram. The company had started construction on the said land from 16th January 2008 in Bhamachandra Hills area; but under the leadership of ‘Bhamachandra Dongar Bachao Warakari Samiti’, ‘Shetakari Sangharsha Samiti’ so also with the strong support from ‘Lokshaasan’, locals forced the company to stop construction work.

In case, the so called chemical laboratory of the company starts functioning from the place, water of ‘Sudha’ River which later joins River ‘Indrayani’, would be contaminated leading to pollution of water even of River ‘Chandrabhaga’. The soil would be contaminated too. HBP. Bapusaheb Maharaj More, President of Saint Tukaram Maharaj Sanstha, Dehugaon, HBP. Manik Maharaj More, the Trustee, HBP. Shivajirao Maharaj More and HBP. Dr. Phadatare Maharaj have declared ban on the Chief Minister from entering during ‘Ashadhi’ festival.
