Tension prevailed in the small village of Kothuri in Nasik as the Lord Shanideva idol in the local Temple was found to have been severed by some infidels. On the appeal on Hindu Janjagruti Samiti, the villagers observed Bandh for the whole day. Police found some parts of the severed idols near a local theatre with the help of sniffer dogs.
In order to protect people’s faith and restore normalcy Hindu Janjagruti Samiti immediately consecrated a new idol of Lord Shanideva and installed it in the Temple. The Samiti congratulated the proud Hindus of the village who provided a helping hand in this task.
Hindus your temples are in danger now thanks to the Government indifference to Hinduism. It has been proved after the Varanasi event that it is impossible to rely on Government or Police to protect the sanctity of our holy Temples. We must take up arms to protect them ourselves.
