Deputy CM signals banning of Manusmruti

In a shocking speech delivered at tha Teli Samaj Melava at Kasturchand Park, Nagpur, Shri R.R. Patil, the Deputy CM of Maharashtra remarked that Manusmruti will soon be banned in Maharashtra. Further he said that any book or material degrading the Bahujans and "modern" thoughts will be banned permanently.
(Hindus, this clearly proves the Deputy CM’s likemindedness with the pseudo-modernists like prof. Sham Manav of ANS. In their attempt to derive the Bahujan vote bank, our Politicians will eradicate Hindu Religion and Religious Scriptures which are so dear to us.)
Agriculture Minister, Shri Sharad Pawar of Nationalist Congress Party assured the Teli Samaj of reservations in the Education and Public Sectors.

Hindu Janjagruti Samiti protests the Deputy CM’s statement
Hindu Janjagruti Samiti has said that the this is a ploy to separate the Bahujan Samaj from mainstream Hinduism for securing their Vote Bank. The Maharashtra State Spokesman Shri Ramesh Shinde of HJS said that simply making such provocative statements will not do but the hon. Deputy CM must state what criteria he has used for banning the Manusmruti ! Without stating the objectionable matter in Manusmruti, making such baseless statements will not be tolerated by proud Hindus in Maharashtra. Instead of banning the Manusmruti it should be preserved an an antiquity. Further Shri Shinde put forth a straight question to Shri R.R. Patil whether he was going to ban Religious Books of other Religions which foster extreme fundamentalism causing severe inter-Religious strifes. Similarly, if Shri Patil feels Manusmruti should be banned, then why is he not banning the books of MF Husain which mutilate the Religious Sentiments of a large Section of the community ?

Hindus, protest against the Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra for proclaiming the ban on Manusmruti !
