Kerala : HJS holds work-shop for children on nurturing moral values

Palakkad (Kerala) : Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) conducted a work-shop for children between the age-group of  8 – 17 years on the topic of nurturing moral values. The work-shop was held on 17th and 18th May 2014 and was attended by 28 children. During these two days, guidance was given on nurturing of moral values and importance of Hindu Dharma. Other topics on which guidance was given, were how to increase concentration of mind, how to study, importance of balanced diet, importance of ‘sattvik’ diet, ill effects of TV etc. Kumari Pranita Sukhtankar of HJS guided the children.

Highlights

1. Children liked this work-shop and demanded to have such work-shop every month.

2. Grand-children of Shri. Ramkrushnaji took active part in this work-shop.

3. Few parents suggested holding such work-shop regularly.

4. Kumari Swati (age- 15 yrs) a participant of this work-shop narrated her spiritual experience on chanting of ‘Kuldevata’s name and ‘Sri Gurudeva Datta’; about changes which took place in her.
