Hindus stop sale of beef on temple road!

Roha: The road leading to Sree Dheevar Maharaj temple is always busy as devotees visit the Gramdevata of Roha. On this road, a Muslim vendor used to sell beef. When city chief of Shiv Sena learnt of it, he called for a meeting of Hindu organizations to protest against this. Members of Shiv Sena, VHP and Hindu Janajagruti Samiti attended the meeting. A representation was prepared in the meeting and later submitted to Roha police station, the Tehsildar’s office and the Municipal Corporation. The concerned police inspector immediately took action and stopped sale of beef. (Congratulations to the Hindus and Shiv Sena for promptly protesting against sale of beef on the Temple road. Such active Hindus are the real strength of Hindu Dharma. Other Hindus should learn something from this incident. – Editor )
