Ayodhya: The Government run by Samajvadi Party in U. P. has decided to felicitate anti-Hindu Kishore Sharan Shastri, with an award titled �Sadbhavana Puraskaar� although Shastri is known for his constant denigration of Hindu Dharma. The saints and religious leaders from Ayodhya so also ardent Hindus have taken objection to the State Government’s action and have threatened to start agitation.
The local alert Hindus had filed complaint against anti-Hindu Kishore Sharan Shastri for hurting feelings of Hindus and was arrested twice for the said offence. He was the chief guest in a conference held on 15th January 2006 at Lucknow where speaking on the topic �Who is terrorist? Brahma, Vishnu, Ram, Hanuman or Mussalman?�, he had passed very derogatory remarks against Hindu deities and branded them as terrorists. That time, saints, religious leaders from Ayodhya had lodged a complaint against him with the police for hurting feelings of Hindus. He was arrested by the police. He was also denied entry in Faizabad for creating disharmony. He had, however, tried to enter Ayodhya but was sent back by the police.
