Law banning conversions should be implemented throughout the country to stop conversions ! – Sunil Ghanavat, State Coordinator, HJS for Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh
A Muslim youth named Irfan Khan Pathan from Shirsala taluka in Beed district was recently arrested for forcibly converting deaf and dumb Hindus. Many such incidents are coming forth wherein Hindus are forcibly converted by fanatics and they are receiving funds through ‘hawala’ from gulf countries by using code-word. Recently, it was found that about 1000 people were forcibly converted in Uttar Pradesh. Investigation agencies are examining the case. In this background, ‘News 18 Lokmat’ news channel conducted a debate on the topic of ‘Toolkit of Conversion’. Shri. Sunil Ghanavat, the State-Coordinator of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) for Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh participated in this program, along with BJP MLA Shri. Ram Kadam, Shamasuddin Tamboli and Maulana Mufti Asgar Khopatkar. ‘News 18 Lokmat’s Vishal Pardeshi was the program-host. A report on the program is given below.
Mumbai : The incidents of conversions are quite serious for the security of this country. The incidents have mainly taken place in Uttar Pradesh. Fanatics commit crime in Uttar Pradesh and run away to Ghaziabad. Till now, the base of all riots staged in Uttar Pradesh was Ghaziabad. Fanatics from Ghaziabad were the first to oppose the ‘Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA)’. Swami Yati Narasimhananda Saraswati was brutally attacked at Ghaziabad. Considering these things, all fanatical activities should have been uprooted. It is necessary to pass a law prohibiting conversions and it should be implemented all over the country, stated Shri. Sunil Ghanavat, the State Coordinator of HJS for Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh.
Bharat is a Hindu Rashtra and the Chief Minister should give assurance that incidents of conversions would not recur ! – Ram Kadam, MLA BJP
1.Using force for conversion is fanaticism. Funds are received from Pakistan and other countries for this job and Hindus have to convert against their wish, which is very bad. Hindu Dharma has always been tolerant and generous. Fanatics take advantage of helpless Hindus which is unpardonable. Bharat is a Hindu nation. Maharashtra Chief Minister should assure citizens that such incidents would not recur.
2.Hindus are forcibly converted even at Palghar but the Maharashtra Government has not done anything against the same. The State Government has also tried to cover up in the murder case of Hindu ‘Sadhus’. In this incident, the ‘Sadhus’ were beaten up and killed only because of their saffron robes. Why do the attackers have such aversion towards saffron?
3. It was the duty of Maharashtra Government to take action against Sharjeel Usmani who came to Maharashtra and used abusive language about Hindus. Hindus were hurt by his statements; still, they are tolerant; so, they kept quiet in the hope that law would do justice but the State Government didn’t take any action.
It is stated in Quran that ‘forcible conversion is not accepted under Islam. If the case of conversion is true, then it is wrong, stated Maulana Mufti Asgar Khopatkar.
Shamsuddin Tamboli exposed by guests for supporting fanatics !
‘Many people belonging to minority communities were arrested as accused in India; but later, they were released as they were innocent. Here, we are talking only based on the news’, argued Shamsuddin Tamboli when Ram Kadam said that those were the facts. He also challenged Tamboli to go to Palghar and witness the incidents of conversions. He also asserted that the officers of Investigation Agencies, Inspector General Arun Kumar and Maulvi Umar Gautam have confirmed the incidents of conversions and funds received from other countries. Shri. Sunil Ghanavat said that Uttar Pradesh Government has given orders to apply ‘National Security Act’ to such cases and he tried to expose Tamboli’s attempts to support fanatics.
Shri. Sunil Ghanavat’s blunt reply to the claim of non-existence of love jihad
Shamsuddin Tamboli passed a convenient comment that people talk about love jihad but not a single case has so far been proved in a Court; to which Shri. Sunil Ghanavat gave a blunt reply. He said, “Thousands of cases of love jihad have been brought forth in this country. Kerala’s communist Chief Minister has also accepted that there existed love jihad. National shooter Tara Sehgal has openly said that she was cheated and it was a case of love jihad. In Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh, law has been passed against love jihad.”
Shamsuddin Tamboli, who had refused to accept the existence of love jihad in the beginning of the debate, later said that ‘there could be one or two such cases and I condemn them; but you are saying that there were thousands of cases and you are telling about only two incidents.’ (Shamsuddin Tamboli wants to have the last word even while losing a debate. Tamboli would see the grave reality of love jihad only when he removes the veil of fanaticism ! – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)
Shamsuddin Tamboli’s double standard was exposed during the debate due to the courage shown by Shri. Sunil Ghanavat !
It was observed from the statements made by Shamsuddin Tamboli that he was, in a way, trying to cover up for fanatics. Shri. Sunil Ghanavat said to him that whatever was wrong, should be accepted as wrong and asked Tamboli if he had openly condemned the wrong things ? Shamsuddin then registered only his verbal protest. He however, changed his statement at the end of the debate, saying that why should he register protest when the crimes were not proved.
One should look at the fanatical activities from the viewpoint of humanity rather than relating them to religion ! – Shamsuddin Tamboli
There are not just a few people from a particular religion who are involved in fanatical activities. There are also incidents (of conversion) like ‘ghar-vaapsi’; therefore, such incidents should not be related to a religion but should be looked at from humanity’s viewpoint. (Activities carried on under the name of ‘jihad’ are undertaken keeping religion in mind and are not at all based on humanity. What is Tamboli’s view on this? – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)
