Nanded love jihad case : Memorandum submitted by Hindu organizations to the DC

Pro-Hindu organizations warn to stage agitations if stringent action was not taken against fanatics involved in luring and kidnapping Hindu girls in Nanded District !

Why do the devout Hindu activists have to submit such a memorandum? Can the local Administration not take action on its own in such cases ?

Nanded : Two Sikh girls were forcibly converted at gunpoint in Jammu-Kashmir. Muslim fanatics are luring and forcibly kidnapping girls in Nanded city and the district since past few days. Police are not taking note of these things even though it is quite a serious matter. Police should take stringent action against the concerned fanatics; else pro-Hindu organizations would stage agitations. The above warning has been given by pro-Hindu organizations through a memorandum submitted on 2nd July 2021 to the District Collector. The memorandum was submitted under the aegis of Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP).  Devout Hindu activists from different organizations such as RSS, VHP, ‘Rashtriya Sikh Sangat’ and ‘Hindu Jagaran Sanghatana’ viz. Shri. Krupalsingh Haburia, Shri. Ganesh Kolulwar, Shri. Ganesh Yashawantkar, Shri. Akshay Patil Bhoir, Shri. Gajanan Singh, Shri. Nagu Maharaj, advocate Jagadish Hake, Shri. Datta Kulkarni and advocate Vijayendrasingh Ragi etc were present on the occasion.

It has been stated in the memorandum that 1000 Hindus were recently lured and converted in Uttar Pradesh. The State anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) has registered cases against fanatics involved in conversions and many persons of evil tendencies have been taken into custody. Stringent action should be taken even in Maharashtra against fanatics involved in similar crime. Law imposing a ban on conversions should be passed and implemented in the State and the offenders should be punished; also, the girls should be protected from such oppression, is the demand made by pro-Hindu organizations.
