
Dhaka : On 25th August 2019, more than 50 fanatics attacked Hindu families in Dashmina sub-district of Patualhali district of Bangladesh. More than 10 Hindu women and children have been seriously injured in this attack. They have been admitted to different hospitals for treatment. A complaint has been lodged with Dashmina police station against this attack. Three persons have been taken into custody so far, informed an officer at Dashmina police station. News on this incident has been published in ‘Dainik Star’ newspaper of Bangladesh.
H.H. (advocate) Ravindra Ghosh paid visit to the place of incident on behalf of Bangladesh Minority Watch and had discussions with aggrieved Hindus who told Mr. Ravindra Ghosh that they didn’t receive proper medical care.
