Solapur : Attacks on ‘Gou-rakshaks’ will not be tolerated now. Act banning cow-slaughter is not being implemented properly. That needs to be done. Till then, devout Hindu activists will continue their agitation. Withdraw all cases filed by CBI against advocate Sanjiv Punalekar, were the demands made by Shri. Bapusaheb Dhage, former municipal councilor during demonstrations staged under aegis of ‘Rashtriya Hindu Andolan (RHA)’ near Zilha Parishad’s entrance and Poonam Gate on 31st July. Delegation of devout Hindu activists submitted representation of demands to the Resident District Collector Ajit Deshmukh after demonstrations.

Shri. Dattatreya Pise, Shri. Vinod Rasal, Shri. Yashpal Wadkar, Sou. Rajashree Deshmukh, Smt. Alka Vhanmare of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) also expressed their views. Compeering was done by Kum. Varsha Jevale. Members of HJS, Sanatan Sanstha and other like-minded organizations were present; including Shri. Appa Gawali, Shri. Siddharam Pujari, Shri. Pravin Kuchan, Shri. Saiprasad Adam, Shri. Bhimraj Hole, Shri. Vishal Kshirsagar and Shri. Siddharm Nandargi of Shriram Sena.

Other demands made during demonstrations

1. Ban should be imposed on film ‘Lal Kaptan’ since there is an attempt to defame Naga Sadhus through this film when they are known for fighting for protection of Hindu Dharma.

2. Cases filed against advocate Sanjiv Punalekar by CBI in Dr. Dabholkar’s murder case, should be immediately withdrawn, even though he has been granted bail.

Highlights – A cow twice passed by the venue of demonstrations and it even stood near the place of demonstrations for some time.
