Representation submitted by District Bar Association, Jaipur for release of Adv. Punalekar 

Jaipur (Rajasthan) : District Bar Association (DBA) submitted representation to District Collector for forwarding it to the Union Home Secretary demanding release of advocate Sanjiv Punalekar, national Secretary of ‘Hindu Vidhidnya Parishad (HVP)’ who has been unjustly arrested in connection with murder case of Dr. Narendra Dabholkar.

1. Dr. Sunil Sharma, President of DBA condemned CBI for arresting advocate Punalekar and demanded his immediate release. He also requested District Bar Council of India to take a note of the incident and stop breach of rights of advocates.

2. Representation was also submitted to the Secretary of ‘Bar Council of Rajasthan’ by DBA in the same context. Advocates viz. Subhashkumar Sharma, Banwarilal, Ramswarup Dhaneva, Sampatlal, Ratnenshu Sharma and Tejsingh Gurjar etc were present on the occasion.
