Minor Hindu girl force-fed liquor and gang-raped in Sindh, Pakistan

A 13-year-old Hindu girl was intoxicated and gang-raped by two men in Tando Mohammad Khan, Sindh, Pakistan on Friday, the third day of Eid.

According to the FIR filed by the girl’s father, she had gone to buy some groceries when the accused men intercepted her. They forced her to drink liquor and then raped her. When the girl didn’t return, the family started looking for her and found her in a distressed condition near Sugar Mills cricket ground.

As per the Pakistani ‘liberal’ newspaper Dawn, the girl was referred to the larger Civil Hospital Hyderabad where doctors conducted a medical examination and confirmed that “sexual intercourse has taken place”. Going by the way the examination result has been worded, it would not surprise anyone if in the coming days and weeks, the Pakistani authorities twist this incident to make it seem like the 13-year-old had consensual sex with her rapists. After all, what’s the worth of a kafir’s word in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan?

Human rights activists have criticized the approach of doctors at the Civil Hospital who allegedly at first discharged the girl in a continuous bleeding state without examination & treatment on the ground that ‘she was not cooperating with them’.

A video has emerged, which reportedly shows the girl’s father narrating the whole incident –

After a lot of pressure, police arrested the two suspects and they have been remanded into police custody for four days by a local court.
