Police remove boards of ‘Afzal Khan Vadh’ under the guise of ‘Code of conduct’

  • Bullying like Mughals by Pune police!
  • What is the connection between the Code of Conduct and Afzal Khan’s slaying ? Creating obstacles in bringing forth truth before people under the guise of elections is an injustice !

Pimpri : Boards displaying the scene of Afzal Khan’s slaying were put up near statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and at other places on the occasion of ‘Shiva-jayanti’; but giving excuse of following election code of conduct, police instructed devout Hindu activists to remove those boards. The activists however, refused and took stance that they were presenting true history before people. At midnight of 18th March, the boards had to be removed. Police squads were deployed in large number for security reasons in the city. People are expressing anger over such action of police.
