Ramnathi, Goa : Atrocities are being inflicted on the Hindu minorities and their religious organisations in Bangladesh. Bangladeshi goverment is consficating Hindus’ land via unjust laws like the ‘Vested Property Act’. The minority Hindus of Bangladesh can take part in the electoral process in the true sense as citizens, only after the religious words are removed from the 5th amendment of the Constitution of Bangladesh. The Modi government in India should protect the Hindus of Bangladesh from the atrocities of the Islamic fundamentalists. Bangladesh, like India, should establish a Ministry of Minority Affairs or a Minority Commission, or both. The minority Hindus are a constant target, thanks to hoax news. Therefore, its utmost necessary to safeguard the very interests of Hindus. The intellectuals across the world, especially the Modi government, should take a note of this systematic wipe-out of the minorities of Bangladesh. Only this can effectively accentuate and put pressure on the Bangladesh government which is being a mute spectator, said Advocate Ravindra Ghosh, President, Bangladesh Minority Watch, Bangladesh.
Ghosh was speaking at a press conference organised at Ramnathi, Goa on the sidelines of the 7thAll India Hindu Convention on the subject “Plight of Minority Hindus in Bangladesh and expectations from the Government of India”. Shri Subhash Chakravarti, Chief Secretary of Nikhil Bang Nagri Mahasangh, Shri Anil Dheer, National President, Bharat Raskha Manch, Odisha and Shri. Ramesh Shinde, National Spokesperson, Hindu Janjagruti Samiti were present at the press conference.

Advocate Ghosh, through videos of atrocities on the Hindus in Bangladesh, presented the heart-wrenching stories of Hindus in front of the mediapersons present at the press conference.

A new Bangladesh of 50,304 sq.kms. area be formed for Bangladeshi Hindus ! – Shri Subhash Chakravarti

Shri Subhash Chakravarti

While speaking at the press conference, Shri Subhash Chakravarti said, “Today, a large number of Hindus are being displaced from Bangladesh. The Sheikh Haseena government of Bangaldesh has conspired to auction 2 lakh 20 thousand sq.kms. of land of Hindus under the garb of ‘Enemy property’. In this situation, the Hindus displaced from Bangladesh should be officially recognised as refugees in India. As a means of a permanent solution to all the issues concerning Hindus in Bangladesh, a portion of land sprawling over 50,304 sq.km. should be created as a new Bangladesh reserved for Bangladeshi Hindus.

‘The Government should take steps to protect Hindus in the world !’ – Ramesh Shinde, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti

The policy of the Indian Government toward Rohingya Muslims and Bangladeshi intruders is not clear. In fact, the incidence of the killing of 99 Hindus in Myanmar by Rohingya Muslims needs to be taken seriously. On the other hand, Bangladeshi immigrants who are staying illegally in India are eroding the system of the country. The Rohingya Muslims and Bangladeshi intruders who are hatching a conspiracy to divide India should be deported by realising their true intents. At the same time, the Indian Government should give guarantee of security of Hindus in Bangladesh so that they can be protected from the countless atrocities faced by them in Bangladesh. Similarly, the
Government should take steps to protect Hindus in the world, demanded National Spokesperson of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti Mr. Ramesh Shinde.

‘Indian Government should not be the signatory to the UNO treaty for sheltering all refugees !’ – Anil Dheer, National President, Bharat Raksha Manch

Shri. Anil Dheer

Mr. Anil Dheer, National President of Bharat Raksha Manch said, “The Indian Government will be legislating an Act to grant citizenship to Hindu refugees coming from Pakistan, Afghanistan and Bangladesh. Some groups are bringing pressure on the ‘Joint Parliamentary Committee’, which is studying the proposal of above bill. These groups are trying to include Shia and Ahmadiyya Muslims from Pakistan and Afghanistan, and Rohingya Muslims from Myanmar in the proposal to grant citizenship. Since India is the land of Hindus, people from other sects should not be rehabilitated here. Similarly, in this Act, displaced Hindus in Sri Lanka and Myanmar should also be included. Along with this, refugee Hindus should be provided with the facilities along with citizenship within 2 years such as housing, jobs, schooling, health and bank accounts etc. India should not sign the treaty from UNO to give shelter to all and sundry refugees.”
