Projects started in Sri Lanka to stop conversion

Hoising nandi flag in village centre

A flag bearing Nandi were hoisted on 19th November at 60 feet height at Chettikulum A14 highway proclaiming this as auspicious Shiva bhoomi warning other religions against doing conversion. Shri Sachithanandanji was personally present to erect the flag in front of 156 houses. At Mukanthankulum in Chettikulum division these flags were hoisted before every Saiva house while the family members sang holy Shiva hymns in Tamil called Thevaram. Posters asking Hindus to vote only for Hindu candidates were also posted. Similar project is planned next at Selvapuram, Mannar. Some ardent Hindu devotees from abroad sponsored these Hindu activities in Sri Lanka.
